Round Push In Queen Marking Cage

The Round Push In Queen Marking Cage lets you mark your queen directly on the comb without removing her from the hive. Place the round cage over the queen, push it gently into the comb, mark her thorax, and release, reducing stress on both the queen and the colony.

At a glance

• Type: Push-in queen marking cage
• Use: Mark the queen directly on the comb, no removal needed
• Design: Round cage that presses gently into the comb
• Access: Holds the queen safely while exposing her thorax
• Build: Lightweight and reusable

Best for

• Marking queens in the field
• Beekeepers who prefer not to handle the queen
• Quick, low-stress queen marking
• Color-coded queen tracking

How to use

Place the cage over the queen on the comb and push it gently in so she is contained but her thorax is accessible. Apply a small dot of paint with a marking pen, let it dry briefly, then lift the cage and let her move back onto the comb.
