Samurai - Challenge Pruning Saw

The Samurai Challenge Pruning Saw is a fine-tooth, straight-blade Japanese hand saw built for precise pruning. Its tightly packed teeth leave an exceptionally smooth, healthy cut surface. Originally designed for fruit-tree pruning, it also handles small hardwood branches in tight structures with ease. Samurai saws have been made in Japan for over 100 years.

Best for

• Precision fruit-tree pruning
• Small hardwood branches in tight spaces
• Clean cuts that heal quickly
• Thin, flexible branches that bind other saws

How to use

Use a pull-back cutting action, letting the fine teeth do the work rather than forcing the blade. Position the cut just outside the branch collar for healthy healing, and return the saw to its scabbard after use to protect the edge.
