Spurred Snapdragon (Linaria maroccana), Northern Lights Mix, is an open-pollinated annual wildflower that grows easily from seed in a rainbow of colors. Also called toadflax or linaria, it is vigorous and useful in border plantings, with multi-colored blooms from early spring into summer that draw beneficial insects. A 1/4 lb covers roughly 1,000 square feet broadcast.

How to grow

Sow in fall or spring, barely covering the tiny seed to about 1/16 inch in well-drained, moderately moist soil with full to partial sun. Seeds germinate in 5 to 21 days; thin plants to about 10 inches apart. Give moderate water and enjoy blooms from early spring into summer.
