Snowball Self-Blanching Cauliflower has large wrapper leaves that curl inward in the cool fall weather. This trait serves to help cover and protect the flower head and to help keep it pure white in color. Because of this trait, snowball self-blanching does not require tying until heads are six to eight inches across, and that is only if you are a commercial producer. The flavor is mild and tasty, both raw and cooked. It is an excellent snack in the refrigerator for those who desire crunchy, filling treats that are very nutritious. The pure white heads grow from 6 to 9 inches across and mature in approximately 85 days with an average water supply.

- Suggested Planting Depth: ¼ inch in cells under lights
- May be started early under lights indoors and gently transplanted outside in approximately 4 weeks
