How to grow

Sow 1/4 inch deep in cells under lights and transplant outdoors in about 4 weeks. Plant in spring or late summer, spacing plants 18 inches apart after thinning, in single rows or a wide-row block. Keep the bed weed-free in full sun with adequate moisture. The wrapper leaves self-blanch the heads, so tying is rarely needed.
