Stick Lighter

The Stick Lighter is a long-reach lighter made for lighting beekeeping smokers. Its extended shape reaches into the bottom of even tall smokers for consistent ignition of your smoker fuel, so you are never caught without a flame at the apiary.

At a glance

• Type: Stick-style lighter
• Use: Lighting beekeeping smokers
• Reach: Long enough to light deep or tall smokers
• Ignition: Simple, reliable operation
• Variations: Colors and brand may vary

Best for

• Lighting smokers quickly and reliably
• Reaching the bottom of tall smokers
• Keeping a dedicated lighter in your kit
• Avoiding makeshift ignition at the hive

How to use

Add fuel to your smoker, then hold the stick lighter's flame down at the base of the fuel and puff the bellows until it catches. The long reach keeps your hand clear of the smoker opening.
