Sweetie Tomato Seeds (Organic)

Sweetie Tomato (Lycopersicon lycopersicum) is an indeterminate cherry tomato that produces long clusters of very sweet, round red fruit up to 1 inch across. A tender annual with vigorous, large vines, its high sugar content makes it a great choice for snacking, juice, and preserves, and it is resistant to alternaria stem canker.

How to grow

Sow seeds in flats 6 to 8 weeks before the last frost, 1/2 inch deep, with germination in 6 to 12 days at 70 to 85 degrees. Thin to 2 inches apart after the first true leaves appear, then harden off and transplant after the last frost. Grow in full sun in fertile soil rich in organic matter with a pH of 5.5 to 7.0, soaking the soil 4 to 6 inches deep at 7-day intervals. Provide support for the tall vines and harvest when fruits give slightly under finger pressure.

Flavor profile

Intensely sweet and juicy with a bright, classic cherry-tomato taste.
