How to grow

Sow seeds just 1/16 inch deep at soil temperatures of 65 to 75 degrees, with germination in 7 to 10 days. Grow in full sun in well-draining soil that stays consistently moist, and thin plants to 8 inches apart. Celery needs a long season and steady water, so keep it well irrigated throughout growth. Harvest the stalks as needed, and remember the leaves are edible too.

Flavor profile

Crisp and stringless with a robust, slightly sweet celery flavor.
