How to grow

Direct sow 1/2 to 1 inch deep in spring or late summer, in single rows or a solid-seeded double-wide row block, in full sun. Thin aggressively to 3 inches apart after germination for larger carrots, and keep the bed weed-free and mulched with adequate moisture. Carrots grown in late summer and harvested after a frost are noticeably sweeter.
