How to grow
Sow 1/4 to 1/2 inch deep at soil temperatures of 65 to 85 degrees, with germination in 4 to 10 days. Grow in full sun in nutrient-rich, well-draining soil and thin to 3 to 4 inches apart, or plant thickly and pull some young as green onions in 8 to 10 weeks. This variety performs well as a fall-planted crop in cooler climates and as a spring planting elsewhere. Use the sweet bulbs soon after harvest, as they are not for long storage.
Flavor profile
Mild, sweet, and sugary with crisp white flesh that shines raw.
