Elm Dirt at Madeline's

Elm Dirt is a family-founded, US-made organic plant food and soil company started in 2020 by Lauren Cain. A chemical engineer by training, Lauren built the company after worrying about the chemicals in conventional fertilizers and weed killers, drawing on her husband's family history of worm farming to develop worm-casting-based formulas. The name Elm stands for Emma, Logan, and Mama, the family behind it.
The heart of the line is liquid fertilizer. Plant Juice is an all-purpose organic plant food built on worm castings and beneficial microbes, while Bloom Juice is a flower-focused formula for bigger, longer-lasting blooms. Both come in sizes from a 16 oz bottle up to a 2.5 gallon jug for serious gardeners. The formulas draw on ideas from Korean Natural Farming, permaculture, and microbe technology.
Around the liquid fertilizers, Elm Dirt makes living soils and amendments, including Ancient Soil, Bloomin' Soil flower booster, an all-purpose soil mix, a tropical aroid mix, orchid bark, seedling mix, and bagged worm castings. The line rounds out with a kelp foliar spray and two all-natural pest control sprays, Shield and Sword.
