Tony's Hot Sauce Company at Madeline's
Share
Tony's Hot Sauce Company is a small-batch, Caribbean-style hot sauce maker in metro Atlanta, Georgia. Atlanta native Tony Vaughn spent years perfecting his recipes, and in September 2021 he launched the company with help from friends and family. After traveling through the Caribbean and tasting sauces across the islands, he built his lineup around the Caribbean herb culantro (the recao plant) together with ajicito and cubanelle peppers, for a flavor that sets these apart from classic Louisiana-style sauces.
The sauces are handcrafted and all natural, made with locally grown peppers and free of high-fructose corn syrup, chemical dyes, sodium benzoate, MSG, and sodium nitrates. They are gluten-free, wheat-free, and soy-free. The range is built to climb in heat: the medium Original and Caribbean Jalapeño sit around 30,000 to 50,000 Scoville Heat Units, while Habanero, Scotch Bonnet, Ghost Pepper, and Carolina Reaper move up to serious territory.
Alongside the single-pepper sauces, Tony's makes flavor-forward bottles like Hot Honey, Asian Garlic, Thai Chili, and a Chesapeake Bay Burn with Old Bay for seafood, plus an all-purpose spice mix and a range of gift and combo sets. Bottles come in 5 oz, 3 oz, and a TSA-friendly 50 ml travel size.
