Ghee-Basted Herb Steak

Luxurious grass-fed ghee infused with fresh herbs for an indulgent steak.

Ingredients

  • 4 NY strip steaks
  • 4 tablespoons Organic Grass Fed Ghee
  • 4 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 3 sprigs rosemary
  • 3 sprigs thyme
  • Sea salt and pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Rest steaks 30 minutes at room temperature, season generously.
  2. Heat cast-iron until smoking.
  3. Add oil, sear steaks 3-4 minutes per side.
  4. Reduce heat, add ghee, garlic, herbs.
  5. Baste steaks with herb-infused ghee 2-3 minutes.
  6. Rest 5 minutes before serving.
  7. Drizzle with remaining herb ghee.
