BroodMinder-SubHub Bluetooth Range Extender

The BroodMinder-SubHub is a Bluetooth range extender and data vault for apiaries running multiple BroodMinder devices. About the size of a TV remote, it wakes every 10 minutes to collect and store readings from nearby sensors, then transfers them to your phone in seconds instead of you connecting to each device one at a time.

How to use

Place the SubHub within Bluetooth range of your BroodMinder sensors. It wakes every 10 minutes to gather and store their readings, so you sync your phone with the SubHub instead of each device. To view real-time data, pair it with an older smartphone running the Apiary app in Hub Mode. Note that the BroodMinder-WiFi does not connect to the SubHub due to power limitations.
