Chikamasa Slanted Blade Snips

Chikamasa Slanted Blade Snips are precision Japanese trimming snips with a razor-sharp, slanted stainless steel blade for fine pruning, trimming, and bonsai work. The rounded back of the blade helps prevent plant damage, while the slanted tip reaches into tight spaces, making clean, accurate cuts on delicate growth.

At a glance

• Blade: Razor-sharp slanted stainless steel, 35 mm long
• Total length: 155 mm
• Handle: Elastomer, shaped for natural, stress-free movement
• Rivet: Stainless steel, resists rust and wear
• Design: Rounded blade back to protect plants

Best for

• Fine trimming and detail pruning
• Bonsai and delicate ornamentals
• Reaching tight spaces among stems
• Harvesting herbs, flowers, and fruit
• Gardeners who value precise, clean cuts

How to use

Hold the snips with fingers in the elastomer grip and use the slanted tip to reach into tight spots and make clean cuts on stems, shoots, and delicate growth. The rounded blade back rides against plants without bruising them. Keep the stainless blade clean and dry, and the rust-resistant rivet keeps the action smooth season after season.
