How to grow
Sow 1/4" to 1/2" deep in well-drained soil at 40-65 F, germinating in 7 to 14 days. Grow in full sun and thin to 12" apart. This variety resists bitterness in heat and is slow to bolt, extending the harvest window. Pick outer leaves regularly to encourage continued growth.
Flavor profile
Mild and tender with crisp, juicy leaves that stay sweet even in warm weather.
