How to grow

Sow indoors 3 weeks before the last frost, or direct-seed 5 to 6 seeds per hill two weeks after the last frost and thin to the strongest 3 plants. Give well-drained soil with added compost, full sun, and good air circulation with mulch to keep moisture even. Water moderately until flowering, then more heavily as fruit develops. Harvest from 1.5" to 5" and pick continuously to keep vines productive.

Flavor profile

Mild and refreshing with crisp, juicy flesh that keeps its crunch through pickling.
