Indian Blanket (Gaillardia pulchella) is an open-pollinated annual wildflower with brilliant pinwheel-like blooms in yellow and red. Hardy and drought tolerant, it adapts to a variety of conditions and makes a good cut flower from mid summer to fall. The pack covers approximately 10 sq ft. Non-GMO.

How to grow

Sow in fall, broadcasting to cover about 10 sq ft and planting 1/8" deep in full sun, ideally in dry, sandy soil. Seeds germinate in 15 to 45 days; thin to 12" apart and water lightly. Deadhead spent blooms to prolong flowering into fall.
