Lemon Balm (Melissa officinalis) is a fragrant perennial in the mint family, with lemon-scented leaves and clusters of small white flowers that bees love. How to grow

Sow 1/8 inch deep in soil around 70 degrees F. Seeds germinate in 14 to 21 days. Grow in partial sun to full sun and thin plants to 12 to 15 inches apart. Plants reach 24 to 36 inches and spread readily. Regular pruning encourages fresh growth and keeps the plant tidy.
