Lemon Cucumber Seeds (Organic)

Lemon Cucumber (Cucumis sativus) is an heirloom tender annual that produces almost round, yellow-skinned fruits resembling a lemon, yet with the classic flavor and sweetness of cucumber. Pick them young and green or fully mature and yellow. The vining plants do well on a trellis, which keeps fruit clean and healthy.

How to grow

Plant in hills or mounds with plenty of organic matter, sowing 6 to 7 seeds per hill and thinning to the 3 best vines. In cool regions, start indoors 10 to 14 days before the last frost or sow directly once soil is at least 70 degrees F. Space 18 inches apart if trellised or 36 inches if left to sprawl. Harvest while small to medium, picking regularly to keep vines productive.

Flavor profile

Crisp, juicy, and mild with classic cucumber sweetness and no bitterness, refreshing eaten fresh or pickled.
