Lion's Mane Sawdust Spawn from Mushroom Mountain is 5 pounds of fresh, fully colonized sawdust spawn (Hericium spp.) used to inoculate hardwood logs or sterilized sawdust blocks for growing gourmet Lion's Mane mushrooms. Lion's Mane forms flowing white spines rather than gills and develops a crab or lobster-like flavor and texture when cooked. Available varieties include Pom Pom (Hericium erinaceus), Tufted (Hericium americanum), Coral Tooth (Hericium coralloides), and Conifer Coral (Hericium abietis).
