How to grow

Plant in hills or mounds with plenty of organic matter, sowing 6 to 7 seeds per hill and thinning to the 3 best vines. In cool regions, start indoors 10 to 14 days before the last frost or sow directly once soil is at least 70 degrees F. Space 18 inches apart if trellised or 36 inches if left to sprawl. Harvest while small to medium and pick regularly to keep vines productive.

Flavor profile

Sweet, mild, and crisp with refreshing, tender flesh that stays pleasant even through hot weather.
