Pest Wizard Fruit Defender Insect Barrier 50-Pack

The Pest Wizard Fruit Defender Insect Barrier 50-Pack is a case of 50 reusable nylon bags that slip over individual fruits to physically block insect pests without sprays. The breathable mesh keeps maggots and other pests off developing fruit while letting air through, so organic growers harvest cleaner fruit with fewer pesticides.

At a glance

• Type: Physical insect exclusion bag (barrier)
• Material: High-grade stretchable nylon mesh
• Quantity: 50 bags per case
• Reusable: Holds up for use season after season
• Breathable: Allows air circulation to reduce mildew and mold
• Application: Apply when fruit is under one inch in diameter

Best for

• Protecting apples, pears, peaches, and other tree fruit
• Excluding maggots and biting insects without sprays
• Organic and low-spray home orchards
• Reducing reliance on pesticides and garden sprays
• Growing blemish-free fruit on a small number of trees

How to use

Slip a bag over each fruit when its diameter is less than one inch, then twist the top around the stem to create a secure seal. The nylon stretches as the fruit grows without restricting it, and the mesh lets moisture escape to prevent mildew and mold. Remove and rinse bags at harvest to reuse them next season.
