Pest Wizard JUST Codling Moth Trap Kit

The Pest Wizard JUST Codling Moth Trap Kit is a 2-pack of complete pheromone delta traps that catch adult codling moths (Cydia pomonella) before they lay eggs on apples and pears. By trapping moths early, organic orchardists can monitor populations and disrupt the life cycle that produces wormy fruit.

At a glance

• Type: Complete trap kit, 2-pack (traps plus lures)
• Kit contains: Two complete delta traps and two 30-day lures
• Target: Codling moth (Cydia pomonella)
• Lure life: 30-day lures
• For trees: Apple and pear
• Approach: Organic, chemical-free monitoring and trapping

Best for

• Protecting home and commercial apple and pear orchards
• Monitoring codling moth flights through the season
• Catching adult moths before they lay eggs
• Timing further action against larvae
• Orchard and garden IPM programs

How to use

Hang a trap in the orchard canopy and let the lure draw adult moths from the surrounding area. Check traps regularly to track the population and judge when egg laying and larval damage may begin. Replace lures about every 30 days and swap traps as they fill with insects.
