Pest Wizard Peach Twig Borer Trap Kit

The Pest Wizard Peach Twig Borer Trap Kit is a complete monitoring system that pairs paper delta traps with pheromone lures to catch peach twig borer (Anarsia lineatella). It gives organic stone fruit and nut growers a chemical-free way to detect adult flights and trap as many adults as possible.

At a glance

• Type: Complete trap kit (traps plus lures)
• Kit contains: 2 paper delta traps, 2 pheromone lures, 2 hangers, and instructions
• Target: Peach twig borer (Anarsia lineatella)
• Lure life: Lasts up to 30 days once opened
• Hosts: Peach, plum, cherry, nectarine, prune, and almond
• Placement: Hang about 4 ft (1.3 m) high, a few feet from the trees

Best for

• Monitoring stone fruit and nut orchards for borer pressure
• Early detection of an emerging infestation
• Trapping adult moths through the season
• Orchard IPM programs
• Tracking the effectiveness of a treatment strategy

How to use

Deploy traps in spring. Place a lure on the sticky floor of each trap and hang it about 4 ft high, a few feet from the trees. Check weekly, since catching the pest may signal an infestation is underway or about to begin. Replace lures about every 30 days and swap traps as they fill with insects.
