Pest Wizard Western Flower Thrips Trap Kit

The Pest Wizard Western Flower Thrips Trap Kit is a complete monitoring system that pairs yellow/blue sticky traps with pheromone lures to catch western flower thrips and other thrips species. The lure and bright trap surfaces, especially the blue side, draw thrips to a no-mess sticky surface, giving organic growers a chemical-free way to track this damaging pest.

At a glance

• Type: Complete trap kit (traps plus lures)
• Kit contains: 2 yellow/blue sticky traps, 2 pheromone lures, 4 hangers, and instructions
• Target: Western flower thrips and other thrips species
• Hosts: Over 500 plant species, including ornamentals, cucurbits, peppers, onions, grapes, strawberries, roses, and stone fruits
• Adhesive: Non-toxic, pesticide-free, no-mess sticky surface
• Concern: Thrips scar plant tissue and can spread tospoviruses

Best for

• Monitoring greenhouse and outdoor crops for thrips
• Protecting ornamentals, vegetables, fruits, and roses
• Catching thrips before they scar tissue or spread viruses
• Greenhouse and garden IPM programs
• Tracking population levels through the season

How to use

Add a lure to each yellow/blue sticky trap and hang it near susceptible plants using the included hangers, following the instructions. Thrips are drawn to both sides, especially the blue side, where they stick permanently. Replace lures as their potency drops and swap traps as they fill with insects.
