The Tree & Plant Guard protects young trunks and stems from mower and trimmer damage with a two-piece shell that snaps together around the plant. Assembled, it forms a 5.5 inch inside diameter by 9.5 inch tall barrier that keeps moisture off the bark and includes a mulch depth indicator line.

How to use

Snap the two halves together around the base of the trunk or stem so the guard surrounds it. Apply mulch up to the indicator line for even depth that retains soil moisture and suppresses weeds without piling against the bark. Water as usual, letting water reach the roots without pooling at the base. Remove and reuse on other plants as needed.
