Trowbridge's Grafting Wax (8 oz. Jar)

Trowbridge's Grafting Wax (8 oz Jar) seals grafts to prevent moisture loss and protect healing tissue for higher grafting success. Its pliable, easy-to-apply formula creates a durable seal that shields graft sites from wind, water, and pests on fruit trees, shrubs, and ornamentals.

At a glance

• Size: 8 oz jar
• Form: Pliable grafting wax
• Function: Seals grafts and prevents moisture loss
• Protection: Guards against wind, water, and pest damage
• Use on: Fruit trees, ornamental plants, and shrubs

Best for

• Grafting and budding fruit trees
• Sealing graft unions on shrubs and ornamentals
• Larger projects or multiple grafting sessions
• Orchardists, gardeners, and small farms

How to use

After making your graft, apply the pliable wax by hand or with a grafting tool to cover the union completely in a smooth, even layer. The seal locks in moisture and blocks out wind, water, and pests while the graft heals. Reapply if the seal cracks before the graft has knit.
