Whiskey Maple Glazed Bacon

Crispy bacon strips elevated with a caramelized coating of rye whiskey barrel-aged maple syrup, delivering smoky-sweet flavor in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb thick-cut bacon strips
  • 3 tbsp Rye Whiskey Barrel Aged Vermont Maple Syrup
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and arrange bacon strips in a single layer.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together maple syrup, Dijon mustard, black pepper, cayenne, and apple cider vinegar.
  4. Brush the syrup mixture generously over each bacon strip.
  5. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are caramelized and bacon is crispy.
  6. Remove from oven and let cool for 2 minutes on the baking sheet (the glaze will set as it cools).
  7. Transfer to a serving plate and serve warm.
