Little Finger Carrot (Daucus carota var. sativus) is an heirloom gourmet baby carrot with slender, cylindrical, blunt roots about 3 inches long. It has a very small core, smooth skin, and deep-orange color, and was developed in France for canning and pickling whole. The tops are weak, so harvest carefully and early.
