How to grow

In spring, start seeds indoors 4 to 6 weeks before the last frost and set out 3 to 6 weeks before the last frost; for fall, sow in a protected spot 8 weeks before the first frost. Sow 1/2" deep in loose, well-drained soil (pH 6.5 to 7.5) at a soil temperature of 50 to 75F; germination takes 7 to 14 days. Thin to 8" apart and cover with a row cover to extend cold tolerance.
